Rolling Fog..

Sometimes you time things just right. Today was one of those times. I had been wanting to get pictures of the fog rolling in over the peninsula hills, and on my way to a friend’s art exhibit (which was pretty awesome, I might add), I couldn’t have planned it any better. Driving up Interstate 280, the thick marine layer that had sat over the ocean all day began to make its way inland. Personally I don’t like being in or under that cloud bank, as it can lower the temperature as much as 30 degrees, but watching it come in is pretty amazing. It’s one of the things that makes the Bay Area a wonderful place to live – Not too hot, not too cold, and a variety of microclimates that you can experience within 30 minutes of each other.
